Touch360 has produced an imaginative kitchen faucet inspired by the ripple of ocean’s waves and in-touch with the human sense of curiosity; the Ripple Faucet.

The main component, a small circle, sits at the edge of the sink where faucets are usually placed but looks more like art than your typical hot and cold tap. A small metal ball on top of the faucet controls both temperature and water flow depending on its position. To make the water flow stronger, the ball is placed closed to the edge of the circle. Temperature is controlled by the placement of the ball around the ripples engraved in the faucet.

It further engages the user visually with colored LEDs below the surface indicating both water temperature and intensity, such that red lights indicate warmer water and stronger light beams mean a higher water flow. The two channels of water around each side of the faucet represent hot and cold water, as with a traditional faucet arrangement. However, Touch360 is firm in pointing out that this design is simply a representation, since both water channels are in fact the same temperature to avoid scolding from the hot side.

This artistic gadget is guaranteed to cause curiosity for owners and guests alike, bringing some child-like fun to interactions with water.
