Kitchen Quandary
As families grow and time passes, we seem to accumulate more and more stuff. Whether it’s pictures, clothes, or kitchen gadgets, there are always new things which capture our imagination and end-up in a drawer or closet. In the kitchen, however, is probably where most people have the most things they never or rarely use. Despite all the years-worth of dusted nicely settled on some kitchen accessories, they are a few which we consider essential - those kitchen items you would take with you if your house was on fire.
So what are your five essential kitchen gadgets? Most people cite some type of knife as a kitchen must-have, such as a Shun, and a KitchenAid or similar mixer is also popular. Other essentials vary by the type of food they cook and how often they bake. For example, some people prefer to bake my hand so don’t have a KitchenAid or similar product, while other couldn’t live without it.
As for me, I think a large sharp knife, spatula, tongs, measuring cups and probably a blender or mixer. I think with these few items I would be ale to start again from scratch.
